From Holy Thursday to Easter Sunday, we form a supportive community with scheduled group Centering Prayer and participation in the beautiful liturgies of Holy Thursday to Easter Sunday.

Through silence and the powerful method of Centering Prayer, we find ourselves more open and attuned to the transformative rituals at the heart of our Christian Tradition. In the tradition of Mercy Center, everyone is welcome to participate in the foot washing and take an active part in the rituals of the Triduum: The Veneration of the Cross, the Waiting, the Lighting of the Fire in the Darkness, the Renewal of Baptismal Waters, the Sharing of the Oil of Resurrection, and the meeting once again at the Table.

Carol Fowler has a Masters Degree in Pastoral Studies and received her formation in Centering Prayer under the direction of Thomas Keating, OCSO. She is currently conducting evenings of prayer and meditation at Vallombrosa Retreat Center and provides workshops on prayer and spirituality in Diocesan parishes.
