"Unless a grain of wheat falls upon the ground and dies, it still remains a grain of wheat. " John 12:24

The Lenten season calls us to remember the great pattern we call the Pascal Mystery.

This pattern belongs not only to Jesus' life but to ours too. It shows us that new life emerges out of the dyings – in each day, at the end of our earthly life, and cosmically as all Creation groans in one great act of giving birth.

Mary Magdalene's presence and actions in Jesus' final days teach us that we do not journey alone. Embracing the Easter Mysteries reveals that it is Love in, with, and through which we find new life. This is a Love that is stronger than death.

With Mary Magdalene as our guide, we will open our hearts to that Love through quiet reflection and simple ritual, prayer, silence, art, body and Nature.
