Looking for Love in All the Wrong Places:
What Mystics Teach Us About the Mystery of Love
with Rev. John Song

Wednesday, Feb 13, 2019

10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Free – Bring a bag lunch
Donation Requested

On the day before the Valentine's Day, we will spend half day exploring the mystery of love, the most powerful force in life. We will examine teachings from Jesus, Paul, and mystics to shed light on the mystery of love that we get all tangled up as it is sung from the soundtrack of "Urban Cowboy":

"Looking for love in all the wrong places. Looking for love in too many faces."

We will also look at the beloved Christmas story of The Gift of the Magi by O. Henry as a metaphorical clue to unlocking the mystery of love. There will be a handout for scriptures and keynotes for the presentation. Bring your journal for reflections.
