"In our encounter with God in Centering Prayer our whole being is opened up to experience ourselves united, not only with God, but with all creation."    Basil Pennington (adapted)

Centering Prayer is sometimes spoken of as the Divine Therapy. We usually reflect on this aspect of our practice in reference to our own spiritual journey. Today we continue our exploration of a wider vision of God’s healing action, and consider how our daily practice may actually be a channel for the Divine Presence to bring healing to our world.

This is an afternoon for those familiar with Centering Prayer—beginners and long-time practitioners. We gather to deepen our consent to God’s presence and action in our world. Our time together will include 2 periods of Centering Prayer, a short talk, a video, and conversation. Instruction in Centering Prayer will not be offered.

For those seeking instruction, register for the Centering Prayer Series beginning January 27, 2019.
