If you have been hoping for a way to put prayer and discernment in the forefront of your life, this program is for you. Experience the Ignatian retreat in a new format designed for busy lives in the Bay Area. Intentional community, excellent spiritual direction, days of peace at Mercy Center, with an invitation to respond to your deepest desires and God's dreams for you.

Program Format

Three retreat days, consisting of group spiritual direction and contemplative prayer, in an atmosphere of natural beauty and peace at Mercy Center, Burlingame.

Thirty video conference meetings for group spiritual direction sessions. Video meetings will be held using Zoom. You will need a computer or tablet, webcam and microphone.


Eight individual spiritual direction sessions scheduled at the convenience of the participant and the spiritual director.


Small group creates intentional community and enriches diversity of process while providing ample individual attention.

You need to purchase The Ignatian Adventure: Experiencing the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius in Daily Life by Father Kevin O'Brien, S.J. (Loyola Press, September 2011). Please read pages 1-30 prior to the September 25 retreat.

Program Cost

$1,000 plus $50 nonrefundable application fee.
