PRIVATE RETREATS

Private Retreats provide time for you in a supportive and contemplative atmosphere, with opportunities for prayer and spiritual direction. They are uniquely designed by each individual retreatant. Cost of retreat includes meals and overnight accommodations. For those who are attending one of our scheduled group retreats, consider adding an extra day or two onto your stay. Many visitors feel that time spent before or after a scheduled retreat is a precious opportunity to go deeper into the experience of healing, growth and transformation.

One Day Retreat: $85

Weekend Retreat: $170

DIRECTED RETREATS

Directed Retreats are structured and guided with the help of a spiritual director, who is a listening and supportive person. The frequency of direction sessions varies at the request of each individual retreatant. Spiritual direction is available in English and Spanish.

5 Day Retreat: $500

Weekend Retreat: $250

One Day Retreat: $125

30 Day Retreats may be arranged for those making the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius.

PLANNING A DIRECTED RETREAT

A directed retreat at Mercy Center offers a special place to tend to body, mind, and spirit. Experience the peace and serenity of our beautiful 40 acres nestled in the heart of the San Mateo peninsula. Make time to listen to the still, small voice within. Enjoy massage or bodywork, and attend meditation in our Motherhouse Chapel each morning. Attend ongoing programs, including Wednesday evening meditation with our East-West Community from 7-9pm and Taize Prayer each first Friday at 8pm.

Our experienced spiritual directors are available to guide you in the retreat process. For weekend retreats, you will meet twice with your director; for 5 day retreats, you will be scheduled for 4 sessions. A directed retreat will provide an opportunity for you to be supported as you pay attention to the movement of the Spirit in the story of your life. Give yourself the gift of rest and reflection. Go home refreshed and renewed. Please contact us at least three weeks in advance of your desired stay.

• Complete the online request form with information about your dates. This is to request information only. There is no guarantee that your preferred dates will be available.
• You will receive a call from our Reservation Department.
• Upon receipt of your confirmation/contract, full payment will be due 7 days prior to your arrival.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation request must be received 3 (three) business days prior to your arrival. A refund may be requested at that time. Mercy Center will retain payment for meals if the request is not received within 72 hours prior to your arrival. Canceled retreats cannot be transferred to another date.
