Cancellations and Refunds

The cancellation policy for Mercy Center Burlingame depends upon several factors including the type of program and duration of stay. Generally, the cancellation policy is a 50% forfeiture of payment if cancelled within 1 week or less of the program start date. Cancellation fees set forth in any specific program description supersedes any terms set forth in this general cancellation policy description.

Refunds due to Illness
Sponsored Events – In order to encourage participants to care for themselves and others by staying home when sick, we offer a 100% refund for cancellations due to illness for events sponsored by Mercy Center. Refunds must be requested in writing by sending the reason for your cancellation with your full name and contact information, and mailing address, to
Hosted Events – Please contact your group coordinator to discuss the terms of agreement for all outside groups. Each group determines their own refund policy and may differ from our policy.

Many guests choose to donate their payment to Mercy Center Burlingame in lieu of a refund. Please inform Guest Services at if you would like to donate your payment at the time of cancellation and we will make sure to send you a receipt for your donation. Thank you!

Refund Payments
Refunds are issued by check within 45 days of approval by the Director of Mercy Center.
